Miscellaneous 3d
Here is a compilation of different 3D projects I have done. I have explored style, lipsyncs, modelling and pushed my knowledge of the animation principles. For some of these I was provided with a rigged model and for others, I made them myself. I primarily used Autodesk Maya and Adobe Photoshop.

Behind the scenes
During my 1st year at university I made the Adventurer Project. It was focused on modelling a character and a diorama with a theme. I chose to do a zombie apocalypse survivor as it is a horror genre I enjoy. It allowed me to learn a lot about Autodesk Maya, modelling, rigging and texturing.

This was a solo led project meaning that I was in charge of conceptualising, modelling, rigging, texturing, lighting etc. I enjoyed making the diorama feel atmospheric.
I really enjoy zombie media. Videogames, films and TV shows, they all inspire me in different ways. Being able to create a cool, punk survivor motivated me to learn Autodesk Maya in more depth.

The initial conept art was done in Adobe Photoshop and it explored different types of adventurers such as a fantasy warrior, a crazy steampunk inventor, a sweet farmer or a cyborg superspy.
Ultimately, I chose the zombie survivor as I felt that the asymmetry of the design made it the strongest.

The texturing style was influenced by the Telltale videogames, having a mix between hand-painted and a graphic comic style.
I textured all of the character and props by hand in Substance Painter and created the shaders in Autodesk Maya.
You might recognise some of the small references I added in the character's clothes...
